Quality Control Technician

POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for performing technical tasks including in-process inspection, line clearance verification, label verification, first article inspections, documentation of work performed, performing detailed measurements utilizing a range of measurement equipment and writing NCR’s. All work is to be done within the Clinical Innovations Quality Management System and documented appropriately.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma with minimum 3 years relevant experience or an Associate Degree with minimum one year relevant experience in a regulated industry
• Experience with measurement techniques and documentation
• Experience with Excel
• Knowledge and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct in-process and final release testing
• Document nonconforming material reports
• Quarantine NCR material
• Ensure good documentation practices during document review and testing
• Identify errors and inconsistencies within the documentation and product and escalate appropriately
• Scan and file documentation accordingly
• Be a liason between the Operations and Quality Teams
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Ability to read product specification and drawings (GD&T)
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to measure utilizing different techniques
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician is preferred

Reports to: Quality Manager
